Alicia graduated from Regent University in 2015 with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Trauma and PTSD Management. She employs a client centered approach to mental health, with the goal to form a therapeutic alliance with client in an empathetic, non-judegmental, accepting way. She also holds a B.S. in Psychology with two specializations: Crisis & Trauma Management as well as a B.S. in Education with an emphasis in Special Education.

Alicia holds the following licenses and certifications: Pennsylvania Licensed Professional Counselor, Nationally Certified Counselor, American Association of Christian Counselors, Master’s Certificate in Trauma Counseling, Certification in Critical Incident Stress Management, Certification in Complex Grief Management, and certification in EMDR (eye movement desensitization & reprocessing).
Alicia has ten years of experience working with individuals in a variety of settings such as Outpatient Mental Health Counseling , Crisis Management, Outpatient Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation, Inpatient Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation, and Case Management.
Alicia works with individuals from teens to the mature adult. She is skilled at working with individuals, couples, and groups. Alicia is trained to work with most areas of clinical disorder. Clinically, she uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She is also trained in Trauma-Focused care (TF-CBT) as well as Motivational Interviewing (MI).
